Vancouver, BC – The Vancouver International Auto Show is officially underway at the Vancouver
Convention Centre (VCC) and kicked off with an opening night celebration honouring Green Star
Dealer Award recipients for their outstanding work in the sale of clean energy vehicles, and
Salespeople of the Year award winners.

“We are thrilled to be back for the 101st edition of the Vancouver International Auto Show, and we
couldn’t think of a better way to begin than by celebrating the excellence and innovation driving
our industry forward,” said Blair Qualey, President, and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of
BC. “This event showcases the dedication of our top dealers and salespeople, and we are proud to
recognize the individuals and dealerships who are leading the way in clean energy vehicle sales.”

The Green Star Awards recognize New Car Dealer selling the highest number of clean energy
eligible vehicles annually across all brands, by provincial region, including the most Improved
Dealership (Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, Interior and Northern BC).
The Green Star Award recipients for Battery Electric Vehicle Sales (BEV) and Plug-in Electric Hybrid
Sales (PHEV) for 2024 sales are:

● Top BEV Sales – Vancouver Island: Victoria Hyundai
● Top PHEV Sales – Vancouver Island: Jim Pattison Toyota, Victoria
● Top BEV Sales – Lower Mainland: Key West Ford
● Top PHEV Sales – Lower Mainland: OpenRoad Toyota Richmond
● Top BEV Sales – Interior BC: Kelowna Chevrolet
● Top PHEV Sales – Interior BC: Kelowna Toyota
● Top BEV Sales – Northern BC: Prince George Ford
● Top PHEV Sales – Northern BC: Prince George Toyota
● Most Improved Dealership BEV Sales: Westview Ford, Courtenay
● Most Improved Dealership PHEV Sales: Suburban Motors, Victoria

“British Columbians continue to lead the charge in the transition to zero-emission vehicles, and our
government remains committed to making this shift as seamless as possible,” said Qualey. “Our
success underlines why there is a need for continued support through rebates and the expansion of
our fast-charging network, and we’re proud to work alongside dealers and communities to create
a sustainable future for all.”

Presented by EBlock, the Salesperson of the Year Award is presented to dealer-member
salespeople across all classes who have excelled in the front-line position of sales and include the
