Vancouver, BC: The New Car Dealers Association of BC, owners of the Vancouver International Auto show, are pleased to announce the appointment of new Auto Show Executive Director, Eric Nicholl.
“Eric brings a wealth of experience from across the trade and consumer show sector in Canada and new and innovative ideas that will create even more excitement as we plan for next year’s event,” says 2023 Auto Show Chair James Carter. “We are thrilled he has joined our team and know that his perspective will be a great benefit to both exhibitors and attendees who are excited for the return of the Vancouver Auto Show after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Nicholl, who most recently was Show Manager for the very successful Vancouver International Boat Show, has held key operations positions across a number of sectors including sports and retail in Canada and internationally.
“I’m honoured to be part of such an important show, not only to the automotive sector but to the economic wellbeing of our province,” says Eric. “The Vancouver International Auto Show is respected across the country for its innovative and dynamic programming, things I hope to grow as we move into the extremely important 100th Show in 2023.”
The Vancouver International Auto Show is the most attended trade and consumer event in Western Canada and drew more than 115,000 visitors in each of its last three editions – and is a regular gathering place for auto enthusiasts from the region, across Canada and around the world. The Show is a showcase for the growing electric vehicle sector featuring one of the most successful EV ride and drive events in North America.
