BC Chamber of Commerce Responds to Proof of Vaccination Program
VANCOUVER, BC, August 23, 2021 — Today, the provincial government announced that it is introducing a Proof of Vaccination program for British Columbia.
In response to the announcement, the BC Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Fiona Famulak, released the following statement:
“Last week, we and other organizations representing businesses across the province called on the provincial government to introduce a Proof of Vaccination program to help return certainty and predictability to the business environment and keep businesses open. With today’s announcement, we are pleased that a B.C. Proof of Vaccination program will be introduced beginning in September.
The BC Chamber of Commerce will continue to support businesses across British Columbia as we navigate this next step.”
