In just three weeks, the curtain will rise on the 101st Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS), taking place March 19-23.
Once again, the Vancouver Convention Centre will be transformed into an ‘everything auto’ experience and serve as a gathering place for auto enthusiasts, the curious, and those who may be in the market for a new vehicle and want to experience the hundreds of brands on display in a non-rushed and no-pressure environment.
In planning for the 2025 event, the focus of organizers has been to re-imagine the experience to attract a broader audience, and we have curated an experience that will establish a new bar.
This year, the celebration will start with a Gala Reception on opening night, for dealer members, associate members, manufacturers, government, media, and friends of the New Car Dealers Association of BC (NCDA) who will come together to celebrate our sector.
We are also thrilled to host a 50/50 charity raffle this year, raising funds for the New Car Dealers Foundation of BC. One-half of the proceeds will go to a lucky jackpot winner and the remainder will support the CarCareerBC grant program which assists aspiring workers and students en route to their careers in the automotive industry
More than 30 brands will be represented at this year’s Auto Show – with 300,000 square feet of display space fully activated.
What truly sets VIAS apart is its unique ability to push the boundaries of immersion by creating a hands-on experience like never before with BC’s largest indoor-to-outdoor electric vehicle test drive experience. Visitors will have the chance to get behind the wheel of 48 different BEVs and PHEVs from 16 top manufacturers, all while cruising around Vancouver’s downtown core. This is an exciting opportunity to explore the latest green technology firsthand. The show will also highlight the latest advancements in electric vehicle performance, new charging solutions, futuristic safety features, and much more.
New to the Vancouver International Auto Show in 2025 will be the Elite Dream Machines. It will be an ultimate performance showcase to supercar culture featuring powerful and luxurious vehicles from iconic brands like, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Pagani, and more! Each car is a personally owned vehicle, generously made available by their owners for this exclusive viewing and will allow car enthusiasts a rare chance to witness the art and innovation that define these elite vehicles.
Among the many features for 2025 will be the return of Supercar Eleganza. Building on the spectacular success of last year, it returns with an even more extraordinary showcase of luxury supercars, featuring iconic models from high-performance brands and rare gems from exclusive private collections.
The show is set to showcase some of the most anticipated and cutting-edge vehicles of the year, including the SSC Tuatara Striker. Known for its jaw-dropping performance, it is a hyper car that pushes the limits of speed and engineering. Making its Canadian debut, it boasts an impressive top speed of over 300 mph. The sleek, aerodynamic design is paired with a V8 engine capable of producing 1,750 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful cars on the planet. Attendees will be able to get up close to this stunning vehicle, which embodies the pinnacle of speed, luxury, and craftsmanship.
Another must see feature of this year’s show will take you Back to The Future! Project Velocity will be honoring one of the most beloved movie franchises of all time, bringing three vehicles from the series to life. Fans will be able to view an authentic replica of the DeLorean Time Machine – complete with its flux capacitor – and Marty McFly’s Toyota 4×4. You’ll even get up close with Biff’s classic 1946 Ford Super Deluxe convertible. It’s the perfect fusion of pop culture and automotive history, and this tribute is a nostalgic journey through time you won’t want to miss!
