The countdown is on for the Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS), returning to the Vancouver Convention Centre from March 19 to 23! Following last year’s record-breaking return following the COVID hiatus, the most highly attended automotive event in Western Canada promises an unparalleled experience for auto enthusiasts, prospective buyers, and folks and families of all ages and backgrounds. With more than 200 vehicles from over 30 manufacturers, exclusive Canadian debuts, test drives, and more, the VIAS is the ultimate showcase of automotive excellence, and it’s happening right here in Vancouver.

This year’s show will be more dynamic than ever, with an expanded lineup of manufacturers displaying the latest in automotive design, innovation, and technology. Don’t miss the Canadian debut of the explosive SSC Tuatara Striker, a hypercar designed for speed and precision with a twin-turbo V8 engine producing a staggering 1,750 horsepower. Attendees will also get a first look at several vehicles making their Western Canadian debut, including the Ford Mustang GTD, Toyota 4Runner Hybrid, Cadillac Celestiq, and Corvette ZR1. These models feature some of the most advanced engineering and design in the industry, from high-performance supercars to groundbreaking electric and hybrid vehicles.

Speaking of which, one of the most exciting aspects of the Vancouver Auto Show is its ability to offer a hands-on experience. The CleanBC Go Electric Test Drive Experience will provide attendees with the opportunity to “try before you buy” and test drive 47 different battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles from leading manufacturers, including Ford, Hyundai, Nissan, and Cadillac. As more drivers in British Columbia consider making the switch to electric, this feature offers a chance to experience zero-emission driving first-hand and explore the latest advancements in vehicle technology before committing to a purchase.

The show will also celebrate automotive culture with returning features that highlight some of the most exciting vehicles on the road today. Supercar Eleganza will once again showcase rare and exotic vehicles, including models from Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, and other luxury brands. Horsepower Heaven will bring together custom-built and restored classic cars, merging timeless design with modern performance. For those who appreciate high-end engineering, the Elite Dream Machines feature will present an exclusive collection of supercars and hypercars, offering a rare glimpse at some of the world’s most powerful and luxurious vehicles.

Whether in the market for a new vehicle, an admirer of high-performance machines, or simply looking for an exciting event to attend, the Vancouver Auto Show is a must-visit for anyone that enjoys fun on four wheels — especially for movie buffs! Step into the world of Back to the Future with Project Velocity, a thrilling tribute bringing three iconic vehicles from the beloved film franchise to life. Fans can get up close to a screen-accurate DeLorean Time Machine, complete with its flux capacitor, Marty McFly’s legendary Toyota 4×4, and Biff’s classic 1946 Ford Super Deluxe convertible!

The show runs from March 19 to 23 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, with a special press tour taking place on opening day. Tickets are available now at VancouverAutoShow.com. With just one week to go, now is the time to plan your visit and experience everything this year’s event has to offer.
