The 2025 Vancouver International Auto Show set a new overall attendance record of over 138,000 for the five-day event, where more than 200 vehicles were featured, including a record number of electrics and hybrids, new offerings from manufacturers never seen before in Western Canada and numerous new highlights and feature displays. 2025 attendance shattered previous record numbers and was buoyed by a single day record of more than 42,000 guests on Saturday.

The highly-anticipated Vancouver Auto Show kicked off with a wonderful opening night gala, where industry stakeholders, media representatives, government officials, and friends of the NCDA came together to celebrate excellence in the automotive sector. The glitz and glamour of the gala was a splendid occasion to bring everyone together and spend time with familiar faces, but it wasn’t just for show. The gala also served as a charity event benefiting the New Car Dealers Foundation of BC and the crucial work of Special Olympics BC.

The 2019 Auto Show was the last auto show the NCDA hosted in Vancouver since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s a sampling from the past show and what to expect for when the show makes its planned return.
Automotive enthusiasts from across the province eagerly await the return of Western Canada’s best attended consumer show—the Vancouver International Auto Show at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Centre. Unveiled Gala at the 2019 Vancouver Auto Show
Unveiled returned on March 19, 2019 to celebrate the opening night of the Vancouver International Auto Show! Dealer members, associate members, manufacturers, government, media, and friends of the New Car Dealers Association of BC joined together to mix, mingle, eat, drink… and repeat! Prior to Unveiled , guests came together for Distinction: Celebrating Excellence, where the New Car Dealers Association presented the Community Driver Awards, BC Salespeople of the Year Awards, Green Star Dealer Awards, and Automotive Dealership Management Graduates from the Automotive Business School of Canada.
